💚 Our Privacy Promise: We are a student-first platform. We will NEVER sell your data, show you targeted ads, or share your personal information with third parties for profit. Your trust is more important to us than any revenue.
📊 What Data We Collect
We collect only the minimum data necessary to provide our services:
- Account info: Name, email address, profile picture (from Google)
- Usage data: Tests attempted, scores, performance analytics
- Payment info: Payment status and Razorpay transaction ID (we never store card details)
- Technical data: Browser type, device type for improving the platform
We do NOT collect: Aadhaar number, PAN, phone number (unless voluntarily provided for shop registration), location data, or any sensitive personal information.

- To create and manage your account
- To track your exam preparation progress and show you analytics
- To process payments and grant access
- To calculate and pay shop partner commissions
- To send important notifications (payment confirmation, new features)
- To improve our AI test generation quality

🤝 Data Sharing
We share your data ONLY with these trusted service providers, and only as needed:
- Razorpay — for secure payment processing (subject to Razorpay's privacy policy)
- Google — for OAuth login (subject to Google's privacy policy)
- Anthropic (Claude API) — only exam prompts are sent, never personal data
We do not share data with government agencies except when legally required.
🔐 Data Security
- All connections use HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt (never stored in plain text)
- Authentication uses secure JWT tokens
- Database access is restricted and monitored
- Payment data is handled entirely by Razorpay — we never see card details
🍪 Cookies & Local Storage
We use browser local storage (not third-party cookies) to:
- Keep you logged in during your session
- Remember your light/dark theme preference
We do NOT use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or analytics SDKs that spy on your behavior.

- Access: You can view all your data from your Profile page
- Correction: You can update your name and details anytime
- Deletion: Email us at examica9@gmail.com to delete your account and all data
- Data portability: Request a copy of your data by emailing us
We will process all data requests within 7 working days.

👦 Children's Privacy
Our platform is intended for students who are 18+ or preparing for competitive exams. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has created an account, please email us immediately.
